This was probably the best two weeks of my life!
First, when it was confirmed that I was going in England, I was the happiest girl ever. Then, couple of days before the start of the trip, I started feel anxious about making new friend with different origins and culture.
But it was stupid to think like that, because when I got to Bournemouth, everyone was kind and fun, and they didn’t know me so I could be anybody I wanted to. Even if at the beginning it was kind of awkward because no one was really comfortable to speak English all the time, but then you get used to it and it became easy to go and talk to the people, and start a conversation, and then a friendship.
I was really happy when I went to Bournemouth because everything is cute, the weather is nice, there is the sea, everything is close, and you just have to go to the center to find everything (food, shops, activities…) and there are squirrels in the park (it was the first time I see squirrels, i even had to feed them), the school look like and old church and the staffs are amazing!
My English teacher was really funny, and the lessons were nice because it was really different that the usual lesson, it was more interesting, and we were learning things that are actually useful.
So every day I had fun, I was going out with my friends: we were going eating, shopping, hanging out, going to the cinema, walking around…
And also almost every evening there was a party, so we were dancing and hooking up too!
On Sunday, we had an excursion to London, we visit the « touristic » things and then we had free time, so i chose with a friend to go to the M&M’s shop… it was a dream come true, 3 floors with m&n’s everywhere…
And then we heard about Summeranza, my friend and I, and we decided to go together. It was incredible, we had so much fun, we did all the carousel we could, we danced, we saw Charlie XCX ! It was my last day there and it was one of the best!
This was probably the best two weeks of my life. I felt free, and autonomous, I could go where ever and whenever I wanted to, I just had to take the bus! This trip made me full of really great memories and I hope I’ll go back to Bournemouth this summer with my friends, so thank you EF ! Thanks to you I met amazing people I’ll never forget about, I did things I never thought I would (taking the bus was really awkward in the beginning), and I had so much fun !
